Pocket Chemdata^® is based on the same database as used in Chemdata^® but available for Windows Mobile or Pocket PC devices (see system requirements below) such as PDAs and smartphones.

We believe that this use of new technology can help improve response to incidents, allowing staff in the field to see the Chemdata^® advice for themselves.

System Requirements

Recommended System requirements for Pocket Chemdata^® are:

Pocket PC/Windows Mobile device with

Pocket PC 2003 or 2003 SE, Windows Mobile 5* (Pocket PC edition) or Windows Mobile 6, 6.1 or 6.5 (professional version)*
64 MB RAM recommended (not including the ROM that most machines come with for the O/S)
40MB of space on an SD/CF flash card

* Windows mobile with touchscreen support required.

Smartphone or tablet running Android 2.2 or greater. Access to the internet is required to install the app and activate the 14 day free trial.
